Living Well With Chronic Pain (LWWCP)

What is it?

LWWCP is a group education program that will help you better understand and manage your chronic pain, while sharing practical skills and exercises for flexibility and pain reduction. The workshops are held in a supportive group environment and are suitable for anyone living with chronic pain such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic back pain or osteoporosis. Participants also learn the Moving Easy Program, a short flexibility routine developed specifically for chronic pain.

LWWCP is run by two trained Stanford chronic condition self management facilitators.

How often does it run?

The workshops are held regularly throughout the year and involve a 2-hour session every week for six weeks.

Accessing the program

LWWCP can be accessed by GP referral or by self-referral. Referral forms can be found under the "For GPs" tab on this website. Call us on 1300 706 922 for more information and schedules.

Costs

The cost of attending LWWCP is $30 for the full 6 week program.
