Mind Care for Children

What is it?

360’s Mind Care for Children program provides help to children up to 12 years of age who are at risk of a mental, behavioural or emotional issue. Children can access a maximum of 12 sessions per calendar year, with an extra six sessions available in exceptional circumstances and with GP review.

Who runs the program?

Mind Care for Children is delivered by a mental health professional specially trained in child mental health. Depending on availability this maybe a Mental Health Social Worker, Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist.

How often does it run?

This program is held ongoing, so participants can attend at any time by appointment.

Mind Care for Children is available all throughout WA.

Accessing the program

Access to Mind Care for Children is by referral from a GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician. Referral forms can be found under the "For GPs" tab on this website.

Costs

The cost is dependent on your situation. Contact our Central Referral Service on 1300 706 922 to confirm costs and possible rebates for eligible clients.
